Murals by April was officially started in 1999 when I realized the
overwhelming desire people had to have custom murals painted in
their homes and businesses. This idea also stemmed from the
need parents had to create thorough masterpieces out of children's
environments that provided both attractive settings and pure
child-level functional fun!

With my 12 years experience (both professional & personal-I'm also
the mom to three great girls) in painting and the decorating field, my
talent has generally led me to paint children's surroundings
including, but not limited to bedrooms, play rooms, pediatric offices
and examining rooms, gyms, nurseries, and child care facilities.
I've always had an incredible eye for detail and an abundance of
ideas, not just in children's settings but in every environment.

Although the majority of my work is children's themes, my work in
the professional setting is equivalently innovative and inspiring.
